For the important Natural History Museum of the Petrified Forest at Sigri of Lesvos, TETRAGON designed the interior spaces of the halls for the exhibition sections about the Aegean and the petrified forest, the organisation and presentation of the exhibits, the models and the visual material.
The geological phenomena and processes associated with the creation of the Fossil Forest, the geological history of the Aegean Basin over the last 20 million years, and the evolutionary history of volcanic activity in Greece, are presented through rare fossils, impressive models and graphs.The graphic design was undertaken by Th. Vafias and TETRAGON.
The Museum is a dynamic lever for the cultural, economic and social development of the region, hosting international scientific conferences, temporary exhibitions, lectures, screenings and other events on its premises.
