Innovative Design Cluster was created on the initiative and coordinated actions of TETRAGON, established and approved by the Ministry of Development and Investments, while the Supporting Agency is the Development Authority of the Metropolitan Area of ​​Thessaloniki.

In 2022 and 2023, within the framework of the Innovative Design Cluster, the collaborative project "SYN INN DESIGN - Collaborative business actions for the development of the Innovative Design Cluster" was successfully implemented and included:

• A digital platform with three innovative specialised tools for the presentation and promotion of Greek Design, the interconnection, networking and extroversion of the creative ecosystem, the documentation of the authenticity and similarity of marks and logos.
• A set of innovative services utilising Design Thinking methodologies, consisting of a participatory design service (Co-Design), a comprehensive detection and formulation of the Design Brief service, as well as a service for creating and evaluating original design ideas.
• Two emblematic, model, pilot actions for the development of Design at the local and regional level, one dedicated to the formation of the identity and operation of Thessaloniki and one dedicated to strengthening the presence of Macedonian wines.

The project "SYN INN DESIGN - Collaborative business actions for the development of the Innovative Design Cluster" was implemented within the framework of the National Action INNOVATION COOPERATIVES - 2nd Call: Enterprises and was co-financed by the European Union and national resources through the OP Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship & Innovation (EPAnEK).
